Honourable Daughter - FemNaru

This is a self-fanart for a FemNaru fanfic that I'm going to do as soon as my highschool-au femnaru project is finished. It's gonna be called 'The Honourable Daughter.' In the story, Naruto's parents Minato and Kushina are alive, and that's why 'Naru' is the 'Honourable Daughter' a throwback to how Konohamaru was called the 'Honourable Grandson' for being Sandaime Hokage's grandson.

To explain the picture, it is three stages of the fanfic, the first stage is when Naru is little and she was kidnapped by Iwa-nin's because of their grudges against Minato; while in captive, she witnessed a rather sexist Iwa-nin kill his female accomplice and was told that the female was easily 'shut up' because she was a 'weak woman'. This leads Naru to be slightly traumatized even after being rescued, and in her trauma she decides that to make sure she's never weak enough to get captured again, she chops off her hair and decides to become a boy.

Thus, the 2nd stage where she still looks like a boy apart from her eyes, where she masquerades as a boy 'Naruto' for the entire part 1 of Naruto. It is only after failing to retrieve Sasuke from Sound and during her travels with Jiraiya-sensei that she decides to give up on her masculine disguise (other factors contribute from the story, but I won't spoil). Her outfit for this section is taken from a Naruto Shippuden filler-flashback episode about Iruka and Naruto.

Therefore, we finish up with Shippuden-Naru, obviously a girl again. I'm actually really proud of how the rasengan in her hand came out, it's so shiny! *u*
